For Schools

The Museum shares its premises with the Educational Service Office of the Superintendence of the Historical Artistic and Ethno-Anthropological Heritage of Umbria.

The Educational Service Office operates upon specific request by educational institutions, which desire to organize a visit.

Working in close collaboration with teachers, it elaborates specific projects and initiatives; provides the didactical means and instruments and makes rooms available for lectures, video projections, laboratory activities and didactical displays agreed upon with prior Reservation. The Educational Office regularly organizes cycles of conferences―approximately 40 each year―for adults, schoolteachers and university students included, in large part held in the same Museum premises. It is possible to have free access to these events simply by registering over the phone. Furthermore, the Educational Office manages Musical and Theatrical performances, film projections and didactic exhibition events. The activities proposed to the public/visitors are numerous and qualified and are organized in coordination with the Museum Main Office Managers, the Educational Office and the Museums Technical Assistants.

Information on activities and events held are released on the phone upon request or published through the web site.

The educational services are regularly offered to schools and educational institutions by the Umbria Region, as per the agreements signed with the Superintendence and the Regional School Offices.

Extra EU educational institutions may apply by contacting directly the Toll-free Telephone Number: 800 99 11 99.
